“Yeah I definitely need more wxs cards especially another tsukasa card” me when I lie.

Depending on how many crystals I can get in between now and pandemonium I think I have a decent shot of getting the rui and Tsukasa cards because surely I won’t need to save enough to spark for nene for the emu focus event in ~august. Surely nene kusanagi would not be so cruel as to make me spark for her a second time. Surely I will be allowed to save for the cyberpunk dead boy rui card and the wxs world link cards (<- top ten things said before needing to spark for a card)

gonna try my hand at tiering, so any tips on who to tier for and to not tier for to get a pretty high spot?

The easiest characters to tier for are probably the L/n or MMJ girls. They’re generally less popular, but have had a few pretty competitive events here and there. Their fans are just as dedicated as vbs/wxs/n25 fans there’s just less people to compete with. Like the Shizuku event recently was completely dead, which might've been partially bc of kiuan, cooking and phoenix being 3 incredibly competitive events directly following, but you get the picture. L/n or MMJ events are pretty quiet normally, and are very easy to rank high on if they're next to a very popular event.

In general wxs/n25 events (and vbs) tend to be the most comp. Tiering Tsukasa or Mizuki in particular is a death sentence.

Sometimes events will be popular tiering targets based on the story (like fawo or curtain call were, although both banner characters are popular on top of that), and sometimes they can be popular because of the cards (i'm assuming bc more people with the cards = more event points per person = more comp event). This happens with white day, it happens with the anniversary events, and basically any set that looks cool (like cgo). This year I reckon story-wise the arc enders, burn my soul, p much every niigo event, maybe lutf will be popular. And Pandemonium (don't even try i'm being dead serious). Gacha-wise, probably Resonant Town, Kind and Gentle You, Hello Good Day (can you tell I have no idea what's popular). Usually this mainly applies to lim gachas lol.

- Tsukasa has cameos with 11 different characters, Emu with 16, Nene with 13, and Rui with 12.

- Tsukasa is losing to Nene and Rui despite being more social than them, which is a neat and subtle nod to the fact that he is annoying and most people who haven’t built up a tolerance to him probably do not want to be near him in a card.

- Tsukasa and Nene have never had a card cameo with a member of MMJ. Rui has never had a card cameo with a member of L/N. Emu has a cameo with every unit.

- Tsukasa shares the spotlight of his cards with Rui over 2x more than he does with other characters, and the same is true with Emu wrt Nene.

- Nene will not share the spotlight of her cards with anyone but close friends apparently, but she will show up in the most random character’s cards.

- there are a lot of full unit cameos: Nene’s trained dazzling lights card and untrained mermaid card, Emu’s untrained island panic card, Rui’s trained and untrained fragment sekai card and his wonder halloween card, Tsukasa’s WMS card. (Outside of WxS members, there’s Meiko’s OHE card).

- 1 on 1 cards where both characters are clearly in frame are rarer (as in, their full head is visible) (I’m only going to list cards with two wxs members for brevity’s sake):

- Nene’s hair and costume (along with her arm) are visible in Rui’s trained on this holy night card, and Saki’s sleeves are visible in Emu’s untrained precious memories card. Both of these count as a cameo.

- a very blurry Rui + Nene show up in Ena’s untrained picnic card, and a very blurry Nene is next to Rui in his untrained RMD card. Both of these count as cameos.

- A hand holding a phone does not count as a cameo - Emu is holding the phone in Miku’s untrained sports festival card, and Nene is holding the phone in Rui’s untrained canary card, but neither of these count as a cameo.

- representations of wxs do not count.

- there are three animals meant to represent emu/nene/rui in lens trained gleaming stars 4*, which don’t count

- there’s a squirrel and monkey meant to represent nene and emu in Rui’s trained picnic 3* (and the mechanical monkey is probably tsukasa), which don’t count

- the cat that represented Rui in wonder halloween does not count as a Rui cameo. It shows up a lot though. I think it just likes attention.

- The robots rui modified to look like tsukasa and emu in his on this holy night 3* don’t count. This would probably bring up the question of “does nenerobo count as a nene cameo?” To which I say no. that thing has a soul.

- other examples that don’t count (that more closely resemble the actual character): emu’s drawing of tsukasa in her untrained initial 3*, Rui’s balloon tsukasa in his trained SOAD 4*, the little wxs on a log meiko has in her trained this holy night card, the poster of what is probably tsukasa in nene’s untrained fragment sekai card.

SO. SOME BIG CHANGES.

will be having a "theme" for each group to make things easier on myself because coming up with an individual theme for everyone is a nightmare. These are just some ideas, and I have more ideas than others for certain groups

WxS: Myths and mystical creatures, card deck, or a marching band.

I'm iffy on the card deck idea because well. World Link. All aces. I don't wanna just steal everything from canon. But if I go through with it... Tsukasa is the joker, Rui is the king, Nene is the queen, and Emu is the Jack (I think that's what it is).

For myths and legends tsukasa would be either a pegasus or a phoenix or even a dragon, Nene would be a mermaid, Emu would be a fairy, and rui would be a wizard/alchemist.

For marching band, Emu would play the tube or trumpet, Nene would play the flute, and rui and tsukasa are the conductor and the drum player I'm not sure which one goes where. This idea is the most cohesive but idk what powers I would give them other than. Music. This idea would actually be based off of the Let Your Song Resonate Throughout the SEKAI event rather than their own event cards.

N:25: Tarot cards. Tarot cards. Tarot cards. Lower save me.

Mizuki is obviously The Reverse Hermit and Kanade is The Reversed Hanged Man, but Mafuyu and Ena are the ones i have to do on my own.

For Mafuyu I'm thinking either Reversed Empress or Reversed Hierophant. Honestly both of them could be incorporated because they represent her during different stages of her development. Maybe if there ends up being like. An evolution of ones costumes. She could look more like the Reversed Empress at the beginning and then end up looking more like Reversed Hierophant at the end. just an idea

I'm looking at Reversed Chariot or Reversed Strength Ena. BUT I'm not 100% sure these represent her character well, so if anyone has anything to say about my choice here then go for it.

MMJ: Tokyo Mew M- I mean animal magical girls. Haruka could be a penguin, shizuku a dove, airi a cat, and maybe squirrel Minori? I need help with Minori. Maybe lamb Minori. Idc that lambs are associated with kohane she's a hamster that's the end of it. Also this is def gonna take from both their DREAM PLACE and Ai No Material outfits.

ANOTHER IDEA!!! their theme could be "gemstones" and they could take from their jewelery box set. Minori is sunstone, Haruka is aquamarine, Shizuku is jade, and Airi is spinel. These gems are all just from the project sekai Jewelery Box card game I think it is?

VBS: Okay so this one is most likely gonna be the most diverse out of all of them. Their theme is seasons. Kohane is spring (because spring baby), An is summer (she just gives off those vibes + her fiery spirit, Akito is fall because of the fact that his name normally gets mistaken for "fall" (look it up its on the wiki) and toya is winter (because mirai).

Akito is going to be based on his Kashika card (I think I can do something with the red strings) An is going to be based on her Machi card, Kohane is going to be based off of her Flyer Card (ty hoc) and her Beat Eater card (big ol hammer), and toya will be based off of his mirai and maybe Valentine's Day cards. Maybe. All of them are most likely going to take elements from blender.

L/N: Times of day. Was originally going to do this with VBS, but I moved it to Leoni.

I'm not too sure about the order but for now I will say that honami is morning, saki is midday, shiho is evening, and ichika is night.

All of them are going to be taking elements from the From Tokyo set, saki especially. Honami is going also use elements from her fea card (if I find a way to incorporate it), Shiho will take from her Draw Your Bow card (idk I like the outfit) and ichika I'm undecided on but she'll either take from her Stage of SEKAI card or her Made To Order card..

Explanations/context for those who want it, though they may be less funny with context. or funnier. depends

-Mafuyu encounters a ghost during her Encounter At A Closed School card event, a schoolgirl Mizuki had been telling stories about. Nobody else sees the girl, and Mafuyu doesn't find this event particularly noteworthy. She knows it's a ghost she just doesn't care

-"Sekai"s are separate worlds made up of feeling and music, accessed through the phone. Each dimension belongs to the feelings of either four people making up a group or one person from the group with three others connected. Miku and other crypton Vocaloids/synths are also there, as...guardians? Representations of...feelings? Interdimensional...something? The rules are entirely unclear and the mechanics of Hatsune Miku multiverse are largely unexplained

-During MMJ!Miku's Stage Sekai card story, Minori watches a performance where Miku blows her a kiss. She then imagines Haruka kissing her. Multiple people ask if Minori is okay

-Ifuudoudou, originally sung by all female vocal synths, has lyrics like "stain my entirety with that overflowing fluid" among others. The cover version has all male vocalists, uncensored. The April fools cover made it so every (human, major if you want to be pedantic) male character got to sing it. The 3DMV involves air humping

-Yeah there's no M/F love songs covered. The only possible exception is GimmexGimme's cover by An and Akito, but that's only from a non-canon spin-off that never appears in game, so I don't count it. I could not list all the F/F and M/M love song covers without making this very very long

-Rui is an inventor and director, creating basically everything and anything. He goes to highschool and has no regards for property damage, personal safety or the law. The teachers expect him to blow things up to the point

-Emu goes to Miyamasuzaka Girl's Academy, while the rest of her groupmates/friends - Nene, Tsukasa, Rui - go to Kamiyama High. She gets sad she can't hang out with them during the day, so she fucking books it during her lunch break and breaks onto school grounds. She's not allowed to be there but they haven't stopped her yet

-Wonderlands x Showtime, an amusement park based band of theatre kids, go on a boat that is hit by a storm Desperate Times?! Island Panic! event. They end up on a deserted island and have to scavenge for food while waiting for rescue. The crux of this story is not the potential mortal peril but overcoming fears like stage fright via confronting wild monkeys

-The main storyline of 25-ji Nightcord de is about Mafuyu, who discovers her sekai - an empty void - and wants to "disappear". It's not explicitly called suicide, but it's extremely heavily implied. Miku knows about this and reaches out to the rest of Nightcord to try and stop/help her, which they do

-Nene and Rui are childhood friends - Nene has social anxiety/stage fright, and Rui is insane. His idea to help her is to create a robotic replica of Nene, Nenerobo, that she control to take her place on stage and in conversations

-Nenerobo is upgraded to act independently and frequently performs complex actions, including holding conversations and making decisions, without any human input. Either she's as smart as a person, just below, or so good at pretending it raises philosophical questions as to what the difference is. This isn't a plot point. There's no other robots this smart but nobody cares, they have highschool to worry about

-Yeah Rui gave Nenerobo rocket launchers. Just because

-Nenerobo is counted as a staff member by Phoenix Wonderland, the amusement park Wonderlands x Showtime works for, and thus is given a salary

-An's sort-of aunt (they're not legally or blood related, but An refers to her as such and she took that role in her life) died and hid it from An. She was diagnosed with cancer, and conspired with basically everyone she knew to hide it from An, saying she was going on tour in the US and not, y'know, dead. It took years for An to found out

-Emu is from a rich family that owns Phoenix Wonderland (theme park) and has a bodyguard. He wears an animal costume at all times and menacingly looms in the background, threatening people he believes are a danger to Emu. According to the wiki his hobby is muscle training

-During Airi's time with QT, her previous idol group, she was pigeonholed as a TV personality/variety show star and not an idol. One of the things her managers got her involved in was televised wrestling

-There's a free costume, "Sonic Style", that's just overalls and a shirt with a picture of Sonic on it. It even comes with Sonic eye shaped sunglasses

-Tsukasa says fuck twice in Dappou Rock, "party people wa fuck off" and "welcome to the fucking circus", the second one only in the full version. WxS!Len sings "1 2 3 fuck off" in Ego Rock. None of these are censored, fully English fuck

-In an area conversation, WxS!Miku tells WxS!Len about how during a sword-based magic trick she added in extra swords and WxS!Kaito's acting was amazing because it sounded like "he was actually getting stabbed!"

-WxS!Miku, in both of her iterations, wears cat ears and a tail. They are stated to be costume pieces, but they move sometimes and she wears them 24/7

Anniversary Event "バーシャル・シンガーファンフェスタ" Summary

I doing this event summary because well... event card looks intriguing and yeah it's true (in case some people still don't know, event card before change came straight from screenshots from actual event story)

this event story came with so many subtle relationships opened (ex : Minori and An know each others from this event as they just keep mentioned each others by Haruka) and from now on most character know each others so yeah I guess they need to update chara relationships onward (lol)

I guess I can't express much details here since I only read VBS and 25-ji event stories so far but please enjoy read below and it's pretty lengthy !

- Characters : Member bonus (Ichika, Minori, Kohane, Tsukasa, Kanade & Miku Original) + ALL CHARACTER + ALL Virtual Singers But the main protagonist for this event is Minori with Ichika Kohane and Nene as secondary protagonist

- Summary (Twitter) : Minori, Ichika, Kohane, and Nene have decided to participate in the annual thanksgiving event "Virtual Singer Fan Festa" as singers. Kanade and the others are also coming to see the creators they're interested in. And thus, the curtain rises on a festival where various feelings cross with each other——! Note : You need to know a bit of previous every band/group event story as some parts mentioned about it except VBS

- I can't cut this story with just summary so for parts :

1. Story started from those four self training to contribute for their own band/group onward. Minori talked about want to self train as she's the most least experience at her group and after thinking about Airi solo performance at MMJ previous event with Ichika and Kohane then Ichika tell them about Virtual Singer Fan Festa still opened for registration we all know Ichika is Miku biggest fans so of course she know this annual festival lol. Then Ichika and Kohane too want to participate as they feels the same lack of experience while Nene joined after hear from Ichika...

2. To prepare they trained with VBS and WxS members ! As VBS good at sing and WxS at dance they decided to train with them, funny enough Minori is the only one doesn't know most of those group members and Minori too seems click right at bat with Rui (Ichika know some WxS members, Kohane is Wonderland Phoenix biggest fan and Nene well she's understandble since she's shut in) PS : Akito put his usual stern face so Nene kinda suprised as she only know the good boy Akito

3. Different scene with those four, Kanade decided come to Festa as one of her favourite creator participate there She asked 25-ji members too and the biggest suprise here is Mafuyu meet with MMJ members except Minori at Festa before meet up with 25-ji members...so this is 25-ji member first timers saw Mafuyu good girl face and it scare them (lol) Note : Mafuyu and Shizuku are classmate and came from same extracurricular activity

4. At Festa well yeah it's just they participate and finished ! But it focused into Minori scene As Minori keep nervous, Tsukasa kinda worries and look for her and meet up at backstage then say some encouraging words

Tsukasa : It's fine to scare but if you succeed in this stage means you success delivering your feelings to everyone

Tbh I kinda like this line, as this came from his own experience since idol and show kinda similar... And he say to scream if you scare and it makes staff (at left) warned him (lol)

And added the encouragement after performance Kanade saying that Minori looks so dazzling on stage

I kinda like the design, it's memorable like those Hatsune Miku commorative or birthday art... as I love the art, too bad I still want to save my gems for Rin Len Aku no Meshitsukai original card around Dec (yeah their livestream mention those info for detail look at Prosekai unofficial english twitter)

- Rarity, seeing the story it's moreless agreeable but too bad Nene doesn't even include as card (lol)

Funny enough Miku and Ichika card have different attribute than event requirement means you can't use them in this event even you get them (lol)

If this question is about which characters I think have the best vocals: I think rui is my favorite but I also really like akito/haruka/nene/mizuki/saki/ichika/an/ena.

These untraineds are favorites just because they make me giggle. Tsukasa in a crisis is Always Hysterical (also why I like his untrained Phoenix/3rd year/doll festival* cards) but I think I’ve said [insert untrained pandemonium card] while talking abt tsukasa 100 times (which I got from you) because it’s never not funny. The gokart card is just really cute I love rui’s dumb expression and the fact that he’s too goddamn tall for this ride/the pure joy on emu’s face as she turns her car directly into rui presumably in an attempt to run him off the road (I support it). But the best part of it is 100% nene being a girl failure in the back like how did you fuck up so badly. Do not let her behind the wheel of a car ever. The expression of gamer rage on her face… her mario kart skills did not transfer over… she’s pissed. 10/10.

*Doll festival card gets an extra shout out. Why is rui there. He’s not in the side stories at all. The implication that he either 1) saw tsukasa acting like the world was ending and just went “not my problem” and walked away or 2) went to go eat lunch with him and walked in on him with his head in his hands having a capital c Crisis & had to deal with that is so funny.
